Germany, SS. A Sicherheitsdienst Sleeve Diamond for Enlisted Ranks Province of China above an inscription of “GESTIFTED(Sicherheitsdienst rmelraute fr Mannschaften). Constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing machine embroidered silver grey initials SD (Sicherheitsdienst), the reverse retaining a largely intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label bearing a makers code of A4 20 for an unidentified but widely documented manufacturer of cloth insignia, measuring 48 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), demonstrating the remnants of an adhesive throughout the reverse base cloth consistent
