This is a really nice untouched example straight out of the family home where it was displayed for almost 150 years. The blade is dated 1862 very faintly on the ricasso below U. S. and an illegible makers mark. The sword has a 32" curved blade, and measures 37 1 2" overall. Brass "D" guard enclosing brass wire bound leather hand grip.
