A gift from some officer's relative (?) this is a typical late Victorian era small embroidered foot stool on wood base. Measuring about 10" across and 6" in height the embroidery of the Regimental badge shows an old muzzle loading cannon under a crown complete with Latin Motto, on a dark blue cushioned base. A nice reminder of the time when officers were really treated like gentlemen.
