Germany, Heer. A Rare Sniper's Badge, Iii Class Archive Silver Bravery Medal (WWI issue(Abzeichen fr Scharfschtzen III. Klasse). A rare and well preserved Sniper's Badge, III Class, constructed of a field grey wool backer, the obverse bearing a black eagles head with eye and beak constructed of golden yellow threading, with feathering highlighted in white threading, peering between three oak leaves with an acorn mounted on the left, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 77 mm (h), with a small spot of material fatigue visible to the edge at
