Pam originally got the plant years earlier from Bob McCartney of Woodlanders Nursery

Iris x robusta 'Gerald Darby' will grow happily in shallow standing water or in average moisture garden soils

so we are glad to offer a hosta that we feel is destined for greatness

Belamcanda chinensis Gone with the Wind Hesperaloe Pam originally got the plant(aka: Iris domestica) We first saw this amazing irid in 2010 when visiting the Atlanta Botanic Garden. Evidently a plant vendor years earlier had offered what appeared to be a cross of Belamcanda 'Hello Yellow' and the taller orange form of Belamcanda chinensis.
