This is a very nice standard maroon Airborne Beret, as used during the Vietnam War by the Army of the Republic of Vietnam. It has a very nice embroidered cap badge on the front, showing the correct parachute in the middle, with a "Wing" wreath. There is a size 55 stamped on the back of the leather guard behind the badge. Most likely this is a standard NATO issued Beret, as used by the U. S., U. K., France, and many
