The full sets of hallmarks are clear and easy to read. This splendid turn of the century mourning locket was assayed* (tested for gold purity*) at Chester Assay Office in 1909. This piece is presented with original backings, photograph, lock of hair, clear portrait protectors and frames. It is suspended from a 9 carat gold
