Type II (1910 1916). A silver Maltese cross with purple enamelled arms and ball finials, between each arm is a large silver monogrammed L, the obverse medallion presents a light pink enamelled rose with five petals on a white enamelled field, surrounded by a silver ring inscribed FUR VERDIENST (For Merit), a decorative silver petal sits in the knee of the 12 oclock arm, the reverse bears a single
