This fine rifle is in . 38 40 caliber (. 38 WCF) with a custom 22 inch octagonal barrel and full length magazine tube. Serial number 355303A denotes year of manufacture as 1890. Original walnut stocks are in very good solid condition with very minor dings and scratches from use and age and lots of original finish remaining, ther is one noticeable chip on the left side of the forearm clearly caused by an arrow
