This is a very large and very impressive Ottoman Flintlock pistol, Smothered with embossed silver mounts overall. The iron lock is both heavily engraved as well as silver inlaid in areas. The long eared silver butt cap with silver trigger guard, side plate and full embossed muzzle cover stretching half way back to the lock. Of Ottoman manufacture circa 1800 this very much resembles the magnificent large European
