Germany, Kriegsmarine. A U-1008 Cap Insignia Core Newly Listed surmounted by “gonflé” royal crown(U 1008 Mtzenabzeichen). Constructed of bronze, the obverse with a shark biting a ship in half, unmarked, measuring 56 mm (w) x 23 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
