This is an excellent condition totally genuine German World War Two rail road eagle used to attach to the front of locomotives and box cars during the reign of the Third Reich. It measures 28 inches across, which is one of the more seldom seen sizes. The reverse is marked with the compound elements along the bottom of the eagle's right wing, which reads GAL Mg Si (Gal=Galvanized Aluminum, Mg=Magnesium, Si=Silicon),
